Resolution Rules (EN)
The market resolves YES if Shrek 5 records a worldwide box office gross greater than USD 1,000,000,000 before August 1, 2027.
The market resolves NO if the worldwide gross does not exceed USD 1,000,000,000 by August 1, 2027.
Worldwide gross includes officially reported domestic and international theatrical box office revenue.
Revenue from streaming, digital sales, television licensing, merchandising, or other non-theatrical sources is not included.
The determination is based on the highest officially reported worldwide theatrical gross achieved before the deadline.
If the film is delayed but still reaches the threshold before August 1, 2027, the market resolves YES.
If the film is canceled, not released theatrically, or fails to exceed the threshold before the deadline, the market resolves NO.
