Rules Summary
This market resolves YES if USD Coin (USDC) has a USD closing price strictly above $1.008 for August 26, 2026, according to CoinGecko historical data, otherwise NO.
Resolution Basis : The USDC historical USD closing price displayed by CoinGecko for August 26, 2026.
Resolution Rules : This market resolves YES only if CoinGecko records USDC's closing price for August 26, 2026 as strictly greater than $1.008. If the closing price is $1.008 or lower, the market resolves NO. A price exactly equal to $1.008 resolves NO.
How it is determined : Once CoinGecko provides historical data for August 26, 2026, the USDC USD closing price associated with that date will be compared with the $1.008 threshold. Intraday highs, lows, temporary deviations from the peg, and prices from other exchanges or data providers do not determine settlement.
Examples :
USDC closes at $1.012 → YES
USDC closes at $1.009 → YES
USDC closes at exactly $1.008 → NO
USDC closes at $1.006 → NO
Important Notes : This is a closing-price market. USDC trading above $1.008 temporarily during the day is insufficient for YES unless the designated CoinGecko historical value for August 26 is strictly above $1.008.
Source : CoinGecko – USDC Historical Data.
Note : CoinGecko is the designated resolution source. If CoinGecko corrects or revises the relevant historical value before settlement, its latest available value at the time of resolution will be used. Prices from individual exchanges or other aggregators will not override the designated CoinGecko value.
Result will be verified using: CoinGecko USDC Historical Data.
